Just like Grandma used to make!

A potluck of foods prepared using the fondly-remembered recipes of loved ones who have died, foods that remind us of things we have lost, and other dishes to help us nourish and embody our grief. There is no cost for this event. Space is limited, and location will be given upon RSVP until the event is full

What to bring: Something to eat, and a story to go along with it! Please bring something to share (small portions are great!) amongst friends. Please be prepared to list ingredients so that we can be mindful of various dietary needs.

What to expect: Support and discussion around all things grief and “Death in the West” related. As we share a hearty meal in the Dead Of Winter made up of these storied dishes, we will get curious about death, dying, caregiving and grief under capitalism as we bear witness to major shifts in our communities, our country, and for our planet. Lets support each other as we figure out how to mourn the intangible.
