Celestial Veils

from $25.00

I grew up with my mom making these room sprays, and in my house we knew them as Veils. As we know it a veil is a thin layer separating two things in order to lend distinction between them, or for protection from an outside element. Or perhaps you are familiar with the saying “the veil is thin” in regards to more mystical things. No matter how you think of a veil, these fit the description. They are made to distinguish—to set apart, protect and make holy—and to invoke the calm of the Otherworld. In the context of the dying space, they are a wonderful tool to help create an environment that is soothing and protective.

And for practical purposes, Celestial Veils are a good alternative to incense when smoke is a concern, and are also great in a variety of applications that incense isn’t useful for—a calming mist for the face or hair, or spritzing onto a pillowcase to impart a soothing scent and to cool the fabric.

They are available individually in a trio of scents, or as a set. All are made in small batches with pure distilled water, witch hazel, vegetable glycerin and high quality essential oils—nothing artificially scented. They are fantastic chilled, and a bottle will last a very long time.

Each has it’s own unique qualities:

Sun—a warming and uplifting floral scent: lemon, lavender, jasmine and ginger

Moon—an earthy, woodsy scent for grounding: mugwort, oakmoss, mint, tuberose, tobacco, spruce

Cirrus—soothing, sweet and lightly herbal: lime, birch, basil, clary sage

It is also possible to make a custom blend, subject to availability and depending on how quickly it would be needed. Please select “custom” when you check out, and I will get in touch.

Please note: Veils are currently labeled with imagery designed for my previous business, Bean Sídhe Botanicals. The formulas have not changed, but while I phase out the old packaging you may see either the old label or a new, Prism branded label.

In addition, these scents are not intended to help with any specific complaint. They are for ambience only and are not intended to treat or cure.
